I ordered a size "10" for my petite/short & petite/tall, 8yr olds & they are to tight on their waist! I also noticed the ones we bought before were actually able to be cinched and tied & didnt have leg pockets, unlike these do, so now i feel i bought the wrong brand.However, the material is super soft & pockets are neat, also the colors are so pretty, but Unfortunately due to sizing, i have to return & am scared to size up to a 12 for fear of them being lose and not being able to use the ties if they need to.

On reading, I thought they were skirts (not attached in the center) with shorts underneath but they are sewed in the middle so technically skorts that look like skirts.
