    Ah yes, the HDE Women’s Plus Size Tennis Athletic Workout Dress — or as I now affectionately call it, “The Dress That Dares.” Dares to be bold. Dares to be pink. Dares to include built-in shorts and a bra, thus sparing one the rigamarole of layering. How terribly civilised.

    Now, while the young lady in the promotional photo seems determined to treat us all to a cheeky flash of thigh — bless her flexibility — I shall not be participating in such leg-baring theatrics. No indeed. I shall be wearing mine with all the grace and modesty of a Wimbledon line judge: brisk, composed, and decidedly not doing the can-can.

    Comfortable? Absolutely. Supportive? Quite. And that hot pink hue? Darling, it’s like someone turned a strawberry milkshake into a power move.

    Ideal for tennis, errands, or flouncing about the garden with a cucumber sandwich and a vague sense of superiority. Five stars — and not a knee in sight.
