I was pleasantly surprised at how well this fits in our Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. The rear seat is awkwardly shaped and angled compared to normal SUVs and sedans. This seat protector fit like it was made for the Jeep. It forms a box with the zippered side panels up and it should keep the dog hair well contained.

It’s not fully enclosed so it won’t keep a roaming dog from getting into mischief but if your dog mostly lays down or sits and looks out the window it should work very well. There’s a little window between the front seats for small dogs to peek out of. The base seems sturdy enough for small to medium sized dogs. Not sure how it will work with a big dog but again the Jeep seat is much smaller than most rear seats, so it’s probably not an issue for regular vehicles.

Installation was a breeze and the protector folds up into its carrying case very easily. Its locked in and feels stable and secure, but still easy to remove when you need the back seat for people.
