we were looking for some larger cups that would fit in our boat cup holder and keep our drinks cold all day while out on the lake. We visit Lake Powell and go through a lot of water. we needed something that would keep our ice all day in the heat. These Cups worked perfectly keep our drinks with ice and cold all day in the 100 degree weather. Also you can turn them upside down and all the water stays put, so spills are a thing of the past when you aren't using the straw and plug the hole with the lid. only draw back was that some the colors didn't come with the straw topper, some did. I like the feel of that over the stainless straw, only reason I mentioned it. These have been so nice all of us are using them for our daily drinking cups for water. they work great.
