Broke in shipping due to very poor packaging by Staub.
Unfortunately, for a high end baking dish, the manufacturer does not consider packaging their product properly for shipping. You can see how mine arrived in the picture The dish just sits in a thin cardboard box. Mine was shipped in a larger Amazon box, set in the bottom of the box. I would think the manufacturer would anticipate these boxes getting tossed around and wrap the dish in bubble wrap or similar packing and then place it in the box. Of course, Amazon is shipping a replacement for free. But the replacement is taking 13 days to arrive! I am also anticipating future dishes getting broken in shipment. I will try to update when the next one arrives as to the condition it arrives in. I intend to keep reordering until I get one that arrives intact, which I think may be a while.
