If you’re expecting these to take your shoes back to brand new, you will be disappointed. However they brought my New Balance 327s pretty darn close. I also used them to clean my daughter’s white crocs - which were almost brown. I should have take before and after photos. She even asked who cleaned her shoes and thanked me!
The product was very easy to use. I kept the sponge wet and constantly rinsed it with water. It was very satisfying to watch the dirt absorb onto the sponge and then rinse immediately off.
It was difficult to get to all the tight spots of the shoes, but that's not the sponge’s fault. The sponge did start to disintegrate when I tried to really work at some tough spots. But constantly running it under water and going slowly seemed to work best.
