These arrived nicely packaged and every pencil in perfect condition. They color well with medium pressure. No problems with sharpening them. Yes, the trays are flimsy but what would you expect for a $9- or$10 set? I keep pencils in another container anyway. I highly recommend this fine set and will definitely buy another when I start running low.
I used these colored pencils with a group of kids, and to my surprise, all 72 made it back in the box! That alone says a lot. The pencils are vibrant, smooth, and hold up really well, even with lots of little hands using them.

The color range is pretty decent, especially for the price. I'm testing them out on cheap graph paper, but even so, the color payoff is surprisingly good. The texture is smooth, and the pencils glide nicely across the page—very satisfying to use.
Now, the packaging… yikes. If you’re thinking about giving this as a gift to someone with OCD tendencies, think twice—at least unless you plan to toss the original packaging and replace it with a proper pencil case. The flimsy plastic inserts that hold the pencils in a tidy layout are a disaster. Just pulling them out of the box caused pencils to scatter all over my desk.
