We have cup holders in our couch that make drinking coffee out of a coffee cup impossible. This little glass set was so nice to open and remedy that issue. Each glass cup comes with two glass straws and a lid. The lid has a place for a straw and a to-go style place to drink without a straw. My husband made me a cup of coffee this morning in a coffee cup, and I was able to pour it directly into one of these. The glass holds one cup off coffee and will also fit in any standard cup holder. It does not leak from the top when it tip my coffee back and forth, but I didn’t do any strenuous testing. The glass design looks beautiful; it mimics crystal and gives a classy aesthetic. The glass straw was an easy fit putting into the top, but I did have to adjust the plastic rim of the lid before it closed tightly all the way on the cup. It wasn’t a big deal. I appreciate the plastic being removable to make washing easier. The glass is pretty decent quality and thicker than I expected, though I don’t want to drop it to check how thick. It is not overly insulating for hot coffee, but I imagine it would be equivalent to a regular glass cup for cold drinks. Two glass cups with two lids and four glass straws at this quality for this price is a good deal in my opinion. I’ll be buying two more to complete the full set.

I haven’t used them yet, but I was really excited to receive them. I love iced coffee and I love reusable drinkware.
The cups were in individual boxes with no bubble wrap or anything to cushion them during shipping. Those boxes were inside another box which in itself was in a larger Amazon box. So seeing broken glass when I opened the box wasn’t too surprising. Glass straws seem like a poor choice—stainless steel or reusable plastic would have been better for iced drinks (and shipping). The glasses themselves seem fine. There aren’t sharp seams or edges in the glass. The lids are flimsy, though. Like they are barely a step above the lids that come on disposable soda fountain cups! I don’t trust the gasket around the lid to prevent liquids leaking or sloshing over side. I don’t think I’m going to try drinking directly from the lid. I will likely only use a straw. Also, the box seems to imply that they’re top-rack dishwasher safe but I have doubts the lids could hold up in a dishwasher.
Though a sleeve wasn’t shown in the listing photos and I didn’t expect one, it was pictured on the box. It made me realize that this cup would not be a good choice for hot beverages so sipping directly from the top wouldn't make much sense anyway unless you like drinking your juice out of a sippy cup.
Tl;dr: good concept, poor execution. I can’t imagine these will become part of my everyday travel cup rotation. I think I’ll stick with my glass Starbucks tumblers for my iced coffee.
