The ends are sharp so you need to be careful, but the meat slides easily onto the skewer. They were easy to turn on the grill using tongs, and don’t move around because they are flat. I hand washed them with dish soap, and clean up was relatively easy. I read a review about rust. I haven’t had that problem, but I don’t let them soak in water, or put them in the dishwasher. The 6 skewers nest together for storing, but it would be nice if they came with a storage case.

These look good, behave well on the grill, don't get overly hot, and clean up well. But despite how sharp the tip is, perhaps due to the important flat nature of the blade, getting items started on the skewer takes more effort than I'd recommend, as the force exerted could lead to loss of grip and injury. Used them a few times, and will trying to improve my technique.

I use them mainly for chicken or anything else that needs to be cooked all the way through since the metal will heat up the center of whatever you're cooking. Not ideal for steak but they make for very nice looking skewers. Mine have got a little bit of a patina to them so they are not super shiny any more (I use them often) but I don't mind it. Food stays right where you left it since the blade is flat and will not roll
