It probably has about a 2-3 inch radius to where it has to be line up to work which is normal. Ya it chargers slow because it’s a 5w charger but slow charging over night is fine. If you need a fast top up use a fast charger, not this. For the price I’m super happy I can read at night without turning on the overhead lights.

I bought a similar product that has not digital display for my home office and when I wanted to track my purchase, this pop up on Amazon and is $9 less. So I bought one to compare with my initial purchase. It was hands down. I returned the other one, bought five more of this. Two to replace my bedside lamps and three as gifts to friends and family. They love it.
I read in one of the reviews that the thermometer is only in Celsius. I am not sure if the manufacturer has made an improvement but with a press of the button at the back, you can change that to Fahrenheit. Please check the manual to correctly set date,time and the alarm. This product is great. Thank you.
