Edit: the seller reached out and immediately sent a new box of pens free of charge after posting my review. I am so grateful for the extra pens and the seller’s effort to make things right. However, still having some issues with the pen skipping and the ink not flowing smoothly like other gel pens. I write on colored paper for work and maybe that’s the issue? Not sure. I increased my rating from 2 to 4 stars for this reason.

I work in healthcare and do a LOT of writing. I wanted to love these pens so badly because they’re so cute and comfortable. However, the pens skip and do not write well after a day or two of use. The ink does not flow like other gel pens and half of my letters will be missing after writing. The pen works better with a nice thick cushion of other paper underneath, but unfortunately still makes errors. Forget writing on a single piece of paper against your desk with this pen. I’ve tried to switch the ink with other pen’s ink to use the soft grip and nothing fits so far. So disappointed :(
