For dry scalp
In order for me to understand & appreciate the benefits of this shampoo, I had to research hyaluronic acid. I learned that our bodies naturally produce this compound but as we age, we don't produce as much. This compound retains moisture, so the less we have, the more dry our skin (and scalp) will be. I figured now would be a good time to try this as I can tell when my scalp is dry - it gets itchy especially after blow drying. Since I have long hair, I first washed my hair with my usual shampoo & then used this shampoo - just on my scalp - for the 2nd final wash. This is just my way of conserving it. It has a nice clean smell. Did I notice an immediate difference? No, but I wasn't itchy either. I used it the next day too without using my regular shampoo 1st. I hope this isn't like a placebo effect lol, but I think my hair really does feels more moisturized. I'll definitely continue using this shampoo especially after learning all about the benefits of hyaluronic acid.
