STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX requires every component of a textiles product—including all thread, buttons, and trims—to be tested against a list of more than 1,000 harmful regulated and unregulated chemicals which may be harmful to human health. The assessment process is globally standardized, independently conducted, and updated at least once a year based on new scientific information or regulatory requirements. Certification focus: #ProductSafety and #ChemicalsUsed.
Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a global certification with strict standards for the processing of clothing and home materials made with organic fiber. Only textile products that contain a minimum of 70% organic fibers can become GOTS certified. These fibers are made with no GMOs, no highly hazardous chemicals, and no child labor. Producers must also have a strong system to protect the health, safety, and rights of their employees and have strict wastewater treatment practices.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I got these slate sheets and it looks like they’ve somehow begun to almost disintegrate within a few washes. I have a white mattress protector and you can see how thin the fabric has become. I have other linen sheet sets and none of the other ones have done this. I reached out to tuft and needle but have yet to receive a response and will update once (if) I do
I discovered linen; i.e., real linen, linens; i.e., bed coverings, made from flax. Flax was the 'original' material used to weave sheets and coverings. It is not a simple process and the result pales against cotton and silk for luxuriousness. That said, linen has it's own appeal and if those features appeal to you then you'll sleep on nothing else. First, it is the coolest of fabrics. The very roughness of linen is what give it part of its cooling properties--yet, like wool, it is also warming. What it does is let your body breathe and it produces a thermal equilibrium. In cold, you are warmer, in heat, cooler. The roughness is an illusion, it isn't rough at all. It is, however, wrinkly. Frankly, I could care less about that. Lastly, it draws negative charges away from your body--it's like sleeping in a rainstorm--energizing.
Linen is not for everyone. This linen is of exceptional quality, earthy and masculine. My sleep is the most important component of my health regimen and these linens support that.
Disclaimer: I bought these direct from T&N so I could get the veterans discount, but I felt compelled to leave them a review because the linen is that good.
