I have the large one because I have a family. Love that it comes with lids and you’re able to use it straight up as a cup. The motor on this thing is fantastic. It really is a great tool for your kitchen!

    Is it as quiet as people are expecting? No. That is my only disappointment with this because I got it for my office hoping it would be quiet enough to not disrupt anything but it is a little loud. It is not nearly as loud as bigger blenders though and may be the quietest you will find that actually works well, speaking of which, this thing is POWERFUL. I really was not expecting this to work better than my big Kitchen Aid blender I have at home but it does. I struggle with my home blender and this is so easy to use and blends so beautifully. I will say I have not used ice in it though, just frozen fruits with the required liquid level but I am almost positive it ill crush ice with enough liquid with no problem. It's so worth its price and the color is nice too.

I will say I have not used ice in it though, just frozen fruits with the required liquid level but I am almost positive it ill crush ice with enough liquid with no problem. It's so worth its price and the color is nice too.

    This mini blender lasted about 6 months before it has now become unusable, when it works its great, value for money is fair, was hoping it would last a year, the mini ninja lasted longer than a year. The durability, blend power and speed were all great. However this is the fourth or fifth time I’ve run into my current problem, and this time I don’t think I can fix it. Even without overfilling the jar, liquid will leak out while blending, so I tighten the top while on the blender, when I take it off the blender motor I can’t open the top where the blade is. This has happened multiple times before, somehow I’ve been able to finally get the overtightened top opened, either by hitting the top, using a large metal wrench, or running it under hot water…but I think this is the end, I don’t have the hand strength or the agility, or man power to open this for the life of me, I’ve been working on trying to open the top for over an hour, and my hands are in red and in pain, I don’t understand why it was leaking when I didn’t overfill, and i always make sure the top is not loose but not too tight, but when its leaking while blending, its so easy to over-tighten the top, and end up trying to open this plastic top for hours. What a waste! I’m so disappointed i have to trash this $100 blender because its soooo easy almost too easy to over tighten the top. And I’m done.

    I've tried several before this to be disappointed. One thing that can be particularly disappointing as if a blender won't do ice. This one will chop ice.

    My other multiple disappointments came from always having thick bit filled veggie smoothies. Not here. If you load ingredients in the proper order, even approximately, powder, green stuff, fruit, all smooth.

    There are pros, nuetrals, and cons. I will sort of start with cons, the
    nuetrals are here and there, and roughly finish with pros.

    The biggest con is that I feel the container, the biggest one, is just too small. Not a single one of my recipes will fit in it and I have to do two batches. That's extremely annoying and makes me wish I had just bought the full size. I am actually trying to decide between going ahead and buying the full size or getting the NutriBullet triple performance. Because the motor gets warm enough to warm the outside to the touch and I have to do two or more batches I spend the whole time feeling anxious both about the longevity of this expensive machine and the extra time it takes. On the other hand, I have had fun deciding what goes into which batch for interesting flavor and density swirls.

    everything without ice does come out warm. actually slightly warm. I didn't even think about it though until reading other people's expectations. I grew up in a 1920's house with no air conditioning, so I don't exactly have modern bougie expectations. So, didn't bother me until I learned it should 😆

    Most of the time this blender is only about the loudness of a hair dryer or less. It's a blender blending ice and Frozen thing so of course it's loud but you can talk over it. If you try to put in Frozen pineapple however it will sound as if you're in one of those juice stores. Awful. To be honest I have decided not to put Frozen pineapple in anything anymore. I will do Frozen anything but pineapple. I've used it several times with several things and the noise level honestly varies greatly depending on what you are blending.

    I have arthritis and other issues so it can be hard for me to get open again after blending.
    It's super easy to rinse and clean... but I just can't get the water spots and residue off enough to feel okay returning it. I also can't quit using it!

    This is a smoothie blender. It does nothing else. I was disappointed that I wasn't replacing anything my cabinets,
    besides the cheaper personal blender, just adding. Although...

    My entire adult life I've been chasing after items that are multifunctional. I repeatedly come to the conclusion that it's better to have a quality item that does one thing and does it well. This does one thing and does it superbly.

    After looking for actual years I have finally found a smoothie maker that actually makes things smooth. I've tried spinach, kale, carrots, peeled zucchini, fresh and frozen fruit of all sorts, powder, and honey and nut butter (adding a spoonful, not making). Everything comes out delicious and smooth. Not only does everything come out delicious and smooth it happens much more quickly than previous blenders which have disappointed me. (Including the Ninja. I tried and tried. The ninja requires you strain things which defeats both the point of time and effort and of including your fiber). Again, non iced items do make for non cool smoothies if that's big to you.

    At first I was alarmed when I read that you should only run the motor for 1 minute at a time. However, after checking the manuals on my other long-lasting devices, this seems to be common wisdom. I'd alwayes worried about that and let appliances like blenders, choppers, and food processors rest , run, rest, run, with okay results. To further my concern some reviews mention the company does not honor it's warranty. I don't know the stories there though.

    The positive here is the machine almost always gets the job done in one minute. As mentioned earlier, needing multiple batches and frequent use makes me concerned on that count. I have to time things to let it cool and use other devices. Also note that my recipe books all give me like seven ingredients. So simple smoothies probably fit better.

    What does remain to Wonder at in my mind is where the manual says " if you use more than three times a week we recommend replacing the motor every few months". I'm between being really happy that I can simply replace the motor rather than the whole unit and wondering if it's actually a good item having to replace it that often. I have a mini chopper that was handed down to me by my mother and that I still have without having to replace...

    The max line is difficult to see. I recognize that this makes it prettier on my counter but it makes it a little bit harder to use. But nothing like impossible it is fine. I just have to bend down a little and look.

    To rinse is Extremely easy. There are no hidden crevices or tiny parts or seals that have to go back on in just the right order.

    Getting the hard water residue off and every little bit of fruit flake from the rubber seal requires some hard scrubbing and polishing. There's always a coating of smoothie left after pouring out. Easy to rinse though. Just if you want to get every drop get the scraper some reviewers have mentioned, I haven't seen it.

    Pros:

    Friends come over wanting to make smoothies now.

    My husband will finally drink the vegetable smoothies.

    It looks beautiful on my counter.

    The unit feels extremely stable.

    I don't have to stop it to mix everything together as both the container design and the mixing program takes care of that.

    I really enjoy being able to drink out of the container or pour it into another glass without it spilling everywhere.

    I ordered the terracotta color and it is a little more Brown than orange and very matte. Since I use a lot of spices this totally makes sense for me. So far it has stayed clean.

    The texture is easy to hold on to but still very beautiful.

    Yesterday when I passed by a fruit smoothie place I was not tempted because I knew I could go home and make one!

    Really I am so thrilled with this unit except for wishing the containers were just a little bit bigger. That is the one missing star for me. I would still recommend this.

    Compré la licuadora por las excelentes reseñas que escuché sobre ella, además de que es una licuadora muy bonita. Según las instrucciones, las aspas se deben de lavar con agua caliente, cosa que me pareció rara, pero decidí lavarla así. La lavé con agua caliente antes del primer uso y después de hacerme mi primer licuado la volví a lavar con agua caliente. La dejé secar toda la noche y al siguiente día la ensamblé colocando el vaso y las aspas en el motor. Lo hice por lo mismo que la licuadora es muy bonita e invita a dejarla a la vista. Ese día no la usé. Cuál va siendo mi sorpresa cuando al siguiente día la desensamblé para hacerme un licuado y vi cómo le había crecido hongo. No se me ocurrió tomarle foto. La verdad pensé que a lo mejor no se había secado bien y había sido error mío por dejarla mojada y ensamblada. La lavé bien, con agua caliente… La seguí ocupando… Hoy después de hacerme un licuado detecté un olor y sabor extraño al momento de darle un sorbo. Más tarde empecé a sentirme mal. Se me ocurrió oler las aspas de la licuadora y olía a hongo. Me sorprendió bastante porque la lavé con mucho cuidado. No es la primer licuadora de este tipo que tengo y jamás me había pasado con licuadoras de otras marcas. Busqué en las redes sociales y resulta ser que es un problema MUY común de la Beast. A pesar de que lavan las aspas muy bien, eventualmente se le forma hongo y no hay manera de quitarlo porque no se pueden remover las aspas por completo. La verdad me estoy planteando devolverla y pedir reembolso.

    This blender creates mold because it’s poorly designed. It will probably make your family sick because the black seal is not properly sealed so liquid seeps in. Absolutely be aware how horrible this product is!
