I wanted a high-quality wall plate that would integrate nicely with the beaded wainscoting I recently installed on a wall. This item is well crafted, precise, and fit perfectly. I'm very pleased with it and so glad I looked online for an option. I'm surprised the company has items with lower ratings. I'd buy this again and plan to consider switch and outlet plate covers with this company again for an upcoming construction project.

    Amerelle Baker Unfinished Wood Wallplates need to be clear coated with urethane to protect them from dirty hands. I use three coats. Wallplates have steel reinforced backing with a nuetral foreign wood exterior that has a light-colored clear pine, ash or spruce appearance. Find alternate oak wallplates if you have oak decore.
