I like the style and functionality of this brewer. It's just the right size and fits well in the fridge. It makes just enough iced tea for me to drink in a couple of days. I brewed the first batch of tea in the fridge for 24 hours and the tea was delicious. Clean-up is easy since it is dishwasher safe. Very pleased with this purchase!

Works very well, but filter has fallen apart.
We have been using this product to make very good cold brewed coffee. We know that a carafe such as this is likely to be fragile, and have handled it accordingly. Sadly, that is not the failure we have experienced. I was filling the filter with grounds the other day, and as I was placing it into the carafe, the retainer top with the silicon seal just disconnected, and the filter cylinder fell, making an unholy mess. This is not something that I expect from a fairly expensive item such as this. We have submitted a request for a warranty replacement, as we have over a month until the advertised warranty period expires. We will update this review when and if we hear from this company. We are sadly disappointed as of now, hoping for a happy resolution to this failure. 05/30/2022 - Update: In all fairness, we will admit we were wrong about the purchase date, and the warranty had expired. We are dubious that the company would have taken care of the issue anyway. WE eventually received an email from the company, and they said that they would sell us the same system for a 10% discount (whoopee, a whole $3.90! Were going to Disneyland!) Not a change I am buying that Chinese planned obsolescence product. The company said that hey sell no spare parts, typical of the Chinese crap the US is inundated with. Instead we purchased a nice indestructable1 qt. Mason jar system that has replacement parts. The company name escapes me, but I think County Line may be in the name? Lower price! I am confident that the lifespan will be greater. The screw-on pour top, and stainless mesh filter seem to be made in Taiwan which gives me a bit more confidence, though I strive to always buy US made goods. Not easy these days. At least the jar is US! While waiting impatiently for the new system, I managed to effect a Jerry-Rigged sort of repair. I drilled four tiny holes at the failed mini spot-welded points, through both pieces of the Chinese throw-away filter, and I sewed some food safe wire through the hole. It will hold together well enough, and will now likely outlast the absurdly fragile non-borosilicate glass carafe. Seriously folks, look elsewhere, send a message.

pros: easy to use, easy to clean (for small hands), great flavor
cons: grounds get through filter, delicate glass, potentially difficult to clean for larger hands.
I purchased this in early Nov. 2019, so I've had it about 3 months now. I don't have very many complaints - it gets the job done and is saving me money on coffee!
Usability:
This is a super easy to use cold brew maker! I love how it seals and how simple it is to use. A potential issue is how thin the glass is. I read a lot of reviews saying it breaks super easy, and I can see how it might. I'm super clumsy, but I haven't broken it yet! So I just advise you to treat it delicately.
Lastly, if you don't have some kind of bottle brush, it may be difficult to clean. It's a breeze for me because I have small hands that slide right in, but those with larger hands will need a tool.
Flavor/ end product:
So far the only thing I'm unhappy with is that no matter what I do, it seems like some thin grounds ALWAYS get through the filter. I even tried grinding my own whole beans and they still get through a little bit. But I've gotten used to that now. I brew mine for longer than it recommends (I've been experimenting with amount of coffee, types of coffee, amounts of water, and brew time) so usually at LEAST 24 hours, but usually closer to 30 or more. The flavor is amazing when brewed that long. When brewed for 18-24 hours, it's still pretty good but not as bold. Either way, it's always smooth and very easy to drink!
