I have not washed this table cloth yet, so I can review color-fastness nor shrinkage. Out of the packaging it's quite a nice tablecloth with a "country feel". I like it. Drapes well and product is true to image. Sizing was accurate (I add about 8" to each side for overhang)

The color and texture was as expected. However, the size is misleading. When it says 55" x 87" that INCLUDES the 5"-6" ruffle. I have purchased ruffled and tassled tablecloths before and those features were never included in the size. I put this on my 42"x78" table expecting about a 6" drop and then the ruffle. Instead, I had a table with a ruffled edge sticking almost straight out; no drop. It looked ridiculous. This is the most I have ever spent on a tablecloth- I had to use the payment plan- and I purchased it for a very special dinner. I would return it, but unfortunately my daughter set the table for me and by the time I saw it, it already had everything, including food, on it. I quickly removed it before guests arrived but wouldn't feel right to return it now. So I am stuck with an expensive item I will never be using again. I love the look and was willing to payment-plan purchase another if it was as beautiful as it looked. Now I am just saddened by the whole situation.

This tablecloth just stunned me when I opened the package. It's exactly like the picture-- a thick, linen-like cotton fabric in a fabulous color. They called it "orange" but it's a little more like brick but a little lighter. I'm hugely disappointed because I got the wrong size-- MY FAULT-- so I won't actually be able to use it. Make sure you get the right size for your table, because with an ordinary rectangular tablecloth you can fudge the size a little bit or even hem it if it's too long, but with these ruffles, it really has to be the right size to look right. It has a gorgeous country/ vintage/ shabby chic look that you can dress up or down. I am going to HAVE to replace mine and also get it in more colors, the colors are all beautiful! Don't hesitate, you'll love it!
