This was exactly what I was looking for! I ordered this to transport my HP Chromebook G7 and my Apple iPad Pro 12.9”. I have a padded laptop sleeve in my backpack but I feel that the padding isn’t enough protection. This is very low profile and minimalist and I feel it will keep my computing assets more intact than the backpack sleeve. I can also use this as a standalone carrier since it has a sturdy handle.
The outer pocket is also slim and suited to carry flat or thin items. Since my Chromebook charges via USB PD, I can insert a small charger block and cable and now I’m ready to go.
What’s interesting to me about this laptop sleeve is the side loading. I am accustomed to top loading where the laptop is inserted where the handles are. The zippers only open on the side, just enough to slide the tablet or laptop in. My Chromebook fit perfectly as if this was a custom fit. My Chromebook measures just under 12.75”x 8.75”. My iPad measures 12”x 9”. Both fit great.
The padding is higher density and plush covered in a velvety velour that is so soft like a stuffed animal.
I’m really glad I found this item and I think this would work well for most people with small laptops.
