This stiff scraper with a hammer cap is part of Warner's Painter's Series. The plated zinc hammer cap is intended for pounding. The blade goes all the way to the end of the handle to increase functionality. The carbon steel blade is solvent resistant and coated to prevent rust. This knife is designed with a durable plastic nylon handle.

Absolute garbage.
The handle completely fell apart after 150-200 hammer strikes. Do not buy unless your not going to hit it with a hammer at all. After around 30 hammer strikes I noticed the hammer strikes pad was cracking. Luckily I had a back-up scraper and was able to finish the job for that day.

    This scraper is solid, very good construction and only had minor defects (corner was chipped). Considering the cost, the performance was very good, and I would buy this one again.

    For context it was used to refurbish an old hibachi charcoal BBQ so I was scraping lots of burnt on crud and this scraped did the job well.
