So sharp!
I didn't see the protector piece when I took this out of the package. It was my first time using one of these. While slicing apples, I sliced a piece of my thumb clean off (I figured it was best not to put that in the picture). Works great! Just maybe buy some protective gloves with it just in case. Even the guard gets sliced so watch out for that as well. I had plastic pieces in some of my apple/ thumb slices

It’s smaller than I thought but perfect for any veggie you can throw at it. I even used it for cabbage to make sauerkraut and I shredded the entire head in about 60 seconds. Now that I think about it, the small footprint is nice for a cluttered kitchen. The safety in it is a very nice feature and it has 3 levels of thickness. Well made product!

Great product, makes slicing super easy and consistent. The blade lock and changing slice thickness works very well. Only downside is that the blade is so sharp it's made tiny cuts in the hand guard after 1 use - maybe we pressed too hard or had the wrong angle but definitely be aware when purchasing.
