If you are searching for an activity to enjoy on a weeknight that will provide a warm and comforting time for you and your loved ones, Frankfort Hot Chocolate Bomb 4-Pack can do just that. The order includes four 1.6oz Hot Chocolate Bombs in Original Hot Chocolate, Peppermint, Salted Caramel, and Double Chocolate Flavors. To make a delicious cup of hot chocolate you just need to unwrap the chocolate bomb of your choice and place it into a mug, pour 8oz of hot milk slowly over the chocolate bomb and watch it dissolve, and stir until evenly mixed, sip, and enjoy. We made two on our first effort: The Original Hot Chocolate and Peppermint. We found that when pouring the hot milk freshly heated on the stove on to the chocolate bomb slowly, we were near the end of the milk pour when the chocolate started to melt and the mini marshmallows made their appearance. Once 1/3 of the chocolate ball had melted, the mini marshmallows made an even layer and coated the top of the beverage. Unfortunately, the chocolate wasn't fully melted or incorporated with the milk. By the time the larger majority of the chocolate was incorporated after a lot of stirring, all of the marshmallows had melted. When we finished drinking the rich and delicious hot chocolate, we still found a noticeable amount of melted chocolate at the bottom of the mug. The hot chocolate is delicious and was extra cozy on a cold, rainy night. I found both hot chocolates on the sweeter side but I think that is because all the mini marshmallows had melted by the time we had taken our first sip. I also wish the Peppermint flavor was stronger. There are 230 calories per hot chocolate bomb with 12g Total Fat, 27g Total Sugars, and 2g Protein. The common ingredients included in all four flavors are sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, marshmallows, cocoa mass, and emulsifiers (soy lecithin, PGPR). The manufacturer noted that the products contain milk and soy. The chocolate is Made in Belgium and is Molded and Packed in China. The Marshmallows are Made in China. The best by date for the products that I received is 8 months from the date that I received it. The four hot chocolate bombs are placed together in a sealed plastic bag. These are easy to divide and give to 1 or up to 4 people per order. I think these would make a wonderful stocking stuffer gift, a set to give to your favorite hot chocolate fan, or gift for an office holiday gift exchange.
