I've never had a gel to foam curl hold product. Thought it would be interesting to try. First off I really don't like the smell, it's fine when it's just sitting in the bottle but when it's in the hair I find it overwhelming. I apply this to wet hair. I rub foam between my hands and then run it through my hair while scrunching. It held my curls pretty well and didn't make my hair hard or crunchy like some gels but I really can't get over the smell.

I have recently discovered that my frizzy “straight” hair is actually wavy. I got this product to try out the Curly Girl Method, and I was shocked at how wavy/curly my hair got. I applied this to soaking wet hair and squished. I let it air dry. Once completely dry my hair was soft, it did not have a hard, crunchy cast. Some curls looked great, but I still had a good amount of frizz. I tried adding more of this mousse onto my dry hair but it made it stick together into stringy little waves and that’s when it got crunchy. So I definitely recommend applying when wet. I’m going to pair this with a gel to tame some of the frizz. In my photo this is the only product in my hair (plus shampoo/conditioner).

SIMPLY THE BEST
I AM OBSESSED!! My hair is quite thick, more wavy than curly and I have struggled to find a product that doesn’t make my hair feel too heavy, weighs it down or creates stringy strands. My wave/curl type for styling purposes can’t be brushed when wet, only before I shower. The only one I have found that worked previous Kristen Ess Curl Defining Jelly, however this one takes the CAKE. My hair is sooo soft and fluffy but the hold is exceptional. The product holds the curl pattern when first applied - without being heavy enough to weigh it down, as it dries the hold then softens to create super soft hair!!! The scent is also wonderful. I hate strong smells but it’s so light but refreshing. I literally bought it this morning and used it right after work. Hands down AMAZING!!!!BrittanySIMPLY THE BEST
