We had a fantastic time playing this game. Initially, I considered crafting the dice myself, inspired by a DIY tutorial I stumbled upon on YouTube. The quality of the dice provided with the game pleasantly surprised me, and the price was unbeatable. The inclusion of a dry-erase scorecard was a stroke of genius.
It's often a challenge to find a game that suits everyone in the family, considering the differences in ages and preferences. Fortunately, this game was a perfect fit for all of us. If I were to make a single improvement suggestion, it would concern the bag. While there's nothing inherently wrong with it, part of the Yahtzee experience is the excitement of rolling the dice. The bag made it somewhat challenging to achieve a satisfying roll. As a result, we resorted to using a large tote bag and even a bucket at times. At one point, I found myself simply picking up all the dice and tossing them simultaneously, which surprisingly worked well.
This is also a perfect gift for a new home owner with a yard.

Pretty nice!
We did like it! My parents have one with the giant pail and this one is easier for the kids to use. The pail is nice and light. Doesn’t really need to be collapsible if you’re going to store the dice in it, but it’s nice and the lid is nice. You do have to bend the cards to get them in there, but I’m glad they aren’t too small or it’s hard to write on them with the dry erase marker. One of the dice immediately had a piece fall out of it today. Maybe it was a knot? I don’t know, but it’s a bit of a bummer. They got a bit dinged up but that’s to be expected. The smooth and curved sides and the lightness of these dice sometimes made it so that they rested on a side when they landed instead of being flat. Maybe our grass is a little too fluffy. Not sure on that one, but it was a little frustrating. Otherwise we had a good time playing with it!
