These jars are beautiful to look at and feel very nice in your hands. Very solid but not heavy. I’ve gotten many complements on their appearance. The lids do not fit quite as tightly as I would like. They’re easy to remove, so I do think they’re absolutely air tight. I put dog treats among other things, and I fear they might go stale sooner than I’d hoped. I think the jars would be great for things that are used up quickly, or don’t necessarily need to be absolutely sealed.
