Pros: Has good strong feel. Material seems rugged. Would be good for doing work in the garden or in the barn. It is basically denim. Cons: However it is not what I am looking for. The material is too dense and heavy for a sweltering hot day. Also it is a bit too short from collar to hem. Raising your arms upward would mean the hem rises too much. I have to send it back. I would recommend it if you are looking for a basic-use shirt . Nothing special . Also depends on the kind of fit you are looking for.

    I like the color selection and you have an option of cuff sleeves or long sleeves. I find the size to be a true fit. Comes out of the bag wrinkled and fully buttoned but hanging in the closet straightens it out. Especially if you want to only do a couple of buttons while its hanging in the closet to help it hold its shape.
    Definitely not broad in the shoulders, at least not as broad as a man's shirt is. But you might feel the shoulders are too buff.
    I purchased this and others for overshirt wear.
    Do pay attention to wash instructions. There are no labels on the shirt. It feels like linen though officially cotton. That means low or no heat so it doesn't shrink.
    The yellow color is brown mustard, which is def more neutral than a yellow would be. Have to point out the button threads are a bit tangled so don't know if that will be a problem down the line. A lot depends on whether you button or wear loose.

    SIGH. Was so looking forward to these shirts. I bought 3 -- green and sky blue short sleeve, and black long sleeve. Ended up returning 2 of them. Bought XL in all 3 as that's my size and it was recommended here. None of the shirts fit the same as the others. VERY inconsistent. None of the materials were the same, either -- green was the only one of the 3 I've kept - it's a thick cotton, more like a thin canvas. Sky blue was MUCH lighter color and heft than the photo showed, hips were too tight; black was a flowy-cotton fabric with lines of grey through it -- much blacker than the photo, which looks like a dark gray -- and long sleeves were super long, went over my hands to my knuckles. I'd only be able to wear it if I rolled up the sleeves. It did have a button to attach the piece to keep them rolled up. Sizing: Sky blue short sleeve XL was at least one size smaller than the green XL, and a LOT thinner material. It didn't seem like it would last, and hips were oddly tight, like it was a man's shirt, so I returned. Black long-sleeve was to size, except the too-long sleeves, but don't know if it would shrink when washed bc I returned it. The green short sleeve SHRUNK at least a full size. But i did put it in dryer, which directions say not too, but I thought would be ok bc it was loose. Unfortunately, my arms are thick above the elbow, and after washing and drying the shirt, the short sleeves are now tight. They did stretch out as the day went on, but never as loose as on the model in the photo. Bottom line: order at least one size up, and if you don't put in dryer, you're going to have to iron them. It's hit or miss with these!

    First, it was not in the original packaging the others came in. Second, if this material is 100% cotton I'm a Dutchman--couldn't find a loose thread to see if it melted, but it looks and feels synthetic, more like a satin than the others. Third, though I ordered 4 of these shirts in Medium, only one fit, the other three are more like XL. The one that fit had a slightly different sleeve construction which I liked better, the cuffs were not tacked and the opening a little smaller. That was the "black" which is actually gray, but that was ok too as it matched the online picture. The green and blue were also huge but the cloth seemed to be cotton. Finally, the red silky one had slightly asymmetrically placed pockets, which gave a strange unbalanced effect. So while I liked the gray/black one, the green and blue seemed basically all right but so oversized I don't think even a small would work, and the red one a total dud. Poor showing in such a big sample.

    This blouse was pretty much what I expected although I could swear it was advertised as "product of USA" but I may have misread that. The item is made in China (wasn't sure we were doing business with them anymore) but appears to be well made and even comes with an extra button. It is not recommended that this blouse be tumble dried however which leads me to think it might shrink. Wash in cold water. But i have worn the blouse and it is comfortable. It is the length I like (a bit below the hip line) and ironed up nicely (to remove the packing wrinkles). The material is a bit thin so I'm not sure what kind of longevity it will enjoy. I ordered the large size and would recommend that you buy bigger than your usual size. a small person might want to order a medium size.
