About the authors
I have always enjoyed drawing, but it wasn't until I began working with my wife on our books that my artwork really became fun. I studied painting for several years in private ateliers, and at various universities, eventually receiving a bachelors in painting, and to think that the end result of those studies would allow me to illustrate children's books is pretty cool.
Here's wishing you well and I hope you enjoy the books.
Best Regards,
James

- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2025It’s a splendid book that talks about Spring and helps readers to understand and recognize what Spring is all about! It is informative and beautiful. I would recommend, if this is being read aloud to children, that the reader be animated and perhaps ask questions about the images, to engage the child. It is a worthy book!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 22, 2022Overall this was a really good book - great pictures and perfect for discussing what changes between winter and spring. I bought this book to read to my preschoolers as we started our unit about spring. It was cute but a bit over their heads, probably better suited for kindergarten or older!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2021This is a gentle book about Spring. The story is great for a home storybook or a book to teach about the different technical aspects of Spring. Taught in a way that is fun and memorable. Whether at home, home schooling, or in the classroom teaching this is a book I highly recommend. The illustrations are gorgeous and amazing.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2020A great book for teaching Spring concepts to a preschooler. Good closing review questions at the end to reinforce new ideas.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2025This is potentially a beautiful, well-written book which should be interesting to a young child; however, the book I received was shipped in a thin, bubble wrap envelope and was permanently bent and creased. It was to be a gift but it doesn't even look new with all the damage it received. I am very disappointed.
