Con: Tripod legs are really short, even on a table I've got to bend down quite a bit to see through the finderacope. This is a good telescope for kids or people just starting to dabble in the hobby of astronomy. It allows for detailed viewing of the moon, if not spectacular clarity, the details of Jupiter could be made out. I would buy again as a gift for a budding young astronomer.
