I'm picky about my slippers. I want them to fit right. I want them to have classic styling. I want them to be well made and durable. And, I want them to be amazingly comfortable and warm. I just bought my first pair of UGGS. I try to avoid trendy labels because I think they're usually just hype. Knowing that UGGS have historically been a celebrity brand, I tried to avoid them. But after a lengthy search, I finally settled on these slippers based on product reviews, and the other criteria I listed above. Granted they were expensive. Sometimes you just have to shell out the cash to get quality. And, I am not only NOT disappointed, I am positively thrilled. These things hug my feet, are chock full of plush lining, and have all the appearances of a quality product. Time will tell if they hold up to my demanding wear, but after a few days I am still very glad I bought these. I wore them outside on my deck in winter temperatures in the teens, and my feet couldn't tell they were outside. As of now, I would DEFINITELY but these again.
Two week follow up: As always, the interior piling has begun to flatten out, however only slightly when compared to synthetic piling. I still can't get over how warm they keep my feet. If these things ever wear out, I'm absolutely buying another pair. UGGS - if you can hear me....don't ever change this product, and don't ever stop selling it.
Two months in, and I'm still in love.
Well, it's been a year now. These slippers are currently unavailable, and that's a shame. I hope they haven't been discontinued. They're such a classic look and fit! Also, one year in (under COVID conditions, mind you) and these things still look brand new on the outside. As expected, the inside piling has begun to mat a bit. BUT, they still keep my feet amazingly warm and toasty. Someday I may need a new pair and, when that happens, I hope they're available. I wish now that I'd purchased a second pair as a back-up for when that day comes.
I'm past year two and these are still going strong. If they ever wear out, though, I'm STILL getting another pair. So far, though, no damage or serious wear.
I'm now at the four year mark. The outer shells are still pristine. The inner lining has become matted and needs to be cleaned. Unfortunately I cannot find any reliable instructions for cleaning the interior and getting them fluffed up again. BUT - for the price point, I am quite satisfied that I got four solid years out of them. I've already ordered a replacement pair (different color - didn't have my color in stock). When the new pair arrives, I'm going to go to work on these and hope I don't ruin them in the process.

I am so happy and satisfied with my purchase of these mens UGG slippers. They are very comfortable and quite stylish. I have received many compliments from both family and friends. I strictly wear mine indoors but some friends have worn theirs outdoors and to the beach. Runs true to size and are like Cadillacs for your feet. I'm 6', 230lbs and these feel and look great!

These shoes from UGG are good. The leather is quality on par with other fine leather goods I have owned, more than sufficient for the intended use and very comfortable. The wool liner is fantastic, so plush and very warm. I particularly enjoy how the wool conforms to the little spaces under the toes, not unlike a memory foam insert.
Warm, comfortable house shoes. Not slippers.

The rubber outsole seems durable for kicking around the house, but don't go hiking around town in these shoes if you want them to last long term. They are house shoes, use them accordingly. Go to the mailbox or the trash bin, but pick up your feet or risk scuffing the leather on bottom.
On fit, I've been wearing them for about a week and they've loosened up some, probably due to the liner compressing a little. They fit snug on me, which is how I like them. I typically wear men's 8.5 in running shoes, and the UGG 9 is spot on.
Notice I have not referred to these shoes as slippers. When I first put them on, they were a little difficult to get into but perfectly comfortable once there. I like my shoes that way. If you want slippers, you may appreciate these one size up from your athletic shoes. People's feet are different, and your mileage may vary.
On the whole, these are great house shoes that feel good and don't look like standard issue from a retirement home. As with all good leather shoes, treat them well and I expect they will be with you for a long time.
For those who care, the tag in my shoes is printed "Made in China". It's a global economy, I'm not offended. The price I paid was appropriate for the quality.
