This outfit is super cute. However, once you wash it you can tell how cheap the material is. It shrank a lot in the wash. The detailing at the bottom of each piece have folded over after one wear and after countless attempts at ironing, they won’t lay straight again. Also, the shorts keep wrinkling, even after ironing. It’s lightweight and breathable which helps for summer. Wish the material was higher quality, then I would totally buy this again.

Ok, from about 20 feet away this has the semblance of being cute, but if you have any type of fabric sensitivity, your skin will crawl. I should have read closer, b/c it looks like a linen effect fabric (and while I see that it does state 100% viscose) ... it feels heavy/not breathable (NOT good for a tropical vacation) and highly flammable.

My bigger beef is the construction. I took Sewing for Beginners when I was 11 yo, made shorts, and with threads hanging everywhere, visible and uneven seams, etc, the quality is about the same level. So maybe this was made by an 11-yo newbie (and honestly, I'm not kind of worried about that).

I'm also 5'3 - not tall but not super short - and the overall piece was kind of long for me.

While I get it's a "good price", it should be like $3 not $33. I'm surprised by the number of positive reviews. Returning.

UPDATE: After washing this item twice, the waistband of the shorts shrank vertically such that the elastic fold over in half. I have NEVER put these in the dryer. They have only been laid flat to dry so not sure why the strange shrinkage. The way the elastic lays is uncomfortable so basically I can't wear them. It's disappointing...

I will admit, I'm more apple shaped than pear so I have a belly. I usually wear a size 16 and I ordered it per the size chart. The top is a bit tight and therefore, is more short-cropped on me than the photos show. The outfit is still SO cute though. I'm going to try and be bold enough to wear it.
