I’ve been looking for a mini weighted blanket and finally realized hotpack size is what I’m looking for. So I haven’t heated this up yet, but it will be a nice feature on those nights I get cold and can’t warm up. I really like the size and the fabric—it’s soooo soft, which is a bonus. It’s very cute, too! I have really bad anxiety at night and I thought having a small weighted blanket in the middle of my chest might help, but the small blanket was too big. This is the perfect size. I was concerned about it being scented, as I’m allergic to fragrances and didn’t want to add a migraine or rash to my nighttime routine, but this has almost no scent and what it does have does seem to be straight from dried lavender, which I’m not allergic to at least. The tag on it says it’s filled with grape seed and dried lavender. Since I don’t heat it up, I really don’t smell it, but if I stick my nose in it I can smell it very faintly. It’s actually a nice scent instead of fake fragrance. The only other thing I don’t really like is the bulky, stiff velcro. An invisible zipper would have been much better. The Velcro makes makes noise when I shift the hotpack around in the night, and I don’t want to disturb my husband’s sleep. It’s also annoying to feel the bump the Velcro causes when using it heat pack side down. I just flip it over but if you’re using it as an actual hot pack that probably won’t work well, and I still hear the Velcro every time I move it around, which isn’t ideal. But it’s still very good for what I bought it for.

No worries about spilling boiling water here as it's easy to heat quickly in the microwave and only takes about a minute. Holds heat well I'd say it stays hot for about 20-30 minutes.
