3. How do you install the battery? Pretty back, but is it removeable?
Yes, it is removeble back. Place the clock face down in one hand. With the other hand grip the rim of the back of the shelf clock and turn to the left.
4. Is this decorative desk table clock an alarm clock?
No, it is not an alarm clock.

This is a great clock perfect with my decor in the hallway. I highly recommend it!!! Please note someone gave it a bad review because it’s a ticking clock, even though it clearly says it is in the description. Also, someone else gave it a negative review because of the plastic backing. In my opinion, this is well-made the back is not flimsy at all, as matter fact, is very decorative and pretty. Very easy to change the battery and adjust the time again this is an amazing clock.
