As a long haired man, a good hair dryer is important to me, although I am not bothered so much about lots of styling accessories, so the package provided here by LANDOT was perfect for my needs. On arrival I thought the hair dryer was nicely presented in its retail box. Protecting it in tissue was a nice touch, although the plastic vacu-formed holder could have been switched to shaped cardboard for better eco packaging. The box contained just the hair dryer, nozzle and instructions.
Using this after a shower, I was honestly shocked at how powerful it was for its small size. It literally blew things off a nearby cupboard. This was of course on top speed, and I then found half speed to be good enough. Also, another thing to immediately strike me, even at full force, was how quiet this hair dryer is. While I still could not hear the nearby TV properly, my hearing was much less affected by this over my normal hair dryer. This alone is a reason to switch.
The hair dryer has multiple modes indicated by a coloured light. Red was the colour of full heat, then you cycle through purple (hot and cold), blue (cold) and orange (warm) before going back to red. Another button sets it to green mode, which provides a low powered more gentle cool setting. I found the maximum heat output to be lower than my original large hair dryer, but heat output was fine, and probably better for my hair.
My final thoughts are that this is a great hairdryer, very impressive for its size and because its so small, it would also be a good travel dryer. While we do have another larger and noisier hair dryer in the house, I plan to switch to this one, especially on grounds of low noise and higher comfort.
