I chose these to hang stockings from so that I could still decorate my mantle and not have bulky stocking holders get in the way - I like that these are flat. They are heavy, have a felt padding on the bottom and seems like they'll work well. Now, if I can just remember where I put them when it comes to holiday decorating season!
