    I just bought this from Wal-Mart, and I’ve had a very similar Bell helmet for about 3 years.

    This one is nice, but not quite as nice as my older ($18) Bell helmet. But it’s lighter (305 grams vs 385 grams).

    PROs:

    * Sizing dial: works great, and is a must if you will be sharing the helmet with other people.

    OKs:

    - Visor: I also consider this a must, to prevent glare and also reduce sun exposure. But the visor is mounted 1/2” higher than you would expect. Why? It’s 20% less effective that way.

    - “Bell” graphics. It’s bright orange, but it’s not reflective. Why? to save 15 cents? The letters are attached with adhesive, which must have melted or something because the left-side letters slipped down 1/16” and look sloppy. (It arrived like this.) (You can see adhesive where they were originally placed.) Good news: If you don’t want to be a walking advertisement, you can remove the stick-on letters with some paint thinner and add reflective tape instead.

    - Padding: The padding is a bit feeble, and there is none on the back of the “headband” where the adjusting wheel resides. (You can add or replace padding easily enough.)
