- Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2025We are planning on using this for an upcoming trip and I’d also like to use it for bike rides soon! I am an experienced hiker and have only used Osprey water bladders (2-3 liters) with a slide on lid so I’m interested to see how well the screw on lid on this holds up... if it leaks or not, wears out or stays in tact. As I have not yet tested this product out on a trail adventure or put it through some tests, I will come back and update this review once it has gotten legit outdoor use! My big complaint is that the water bladder is green and not see through/clear. I prefer my water bladders where I can tell if they are all clean inside, completely DRY before storing after use AND if the water is free of debris. Other than that I did try the pack on and I feel this will be a wonderful way to stay hydrated on mini outings!
I think the zippered pouch material on the left side (when worn) could have been made to stretch a bit more as it tightens too much in my opinion when you clip the straps in as it may hurt the zipper/material later on. And perhaps adding longer straps to accommodate someone of a bigger size would be a good idea, although it fit me perfectly.
One more note: the thing I find both weird and interesting is the added foot/ankle straps. The big piece is held in place with Velcro on the back of the pack, but the one issue I see is it falling off if not just stuffed in the pack. The reason for this is that the top sticks really well, but the bottom two parts of it do not hold on well onto the Velcro on the bottom of the pack. Good inventive idea though as I have plantar fasciitis and see this as a plus having straps to help on a longer trek!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2025I recently purchased the COTATI Hydration Backpack Running Vest with a 2L Water Bladder for hiking and cycling, and overall, it’s a great product for the price. The lightweight design is a major plus—it feels barely noticeable when worn, even on long outings, and doesn’t add unnecessary bulk to my gear. The vest fits comfortably, with adjustable straps that make it easy to customize for a snug, bounce-free fit, whether I’m running, biking, or hiking. The 2L water bladder is the perfect size for a few hours of activity, and the drinking tube is convenient and easy to use on the go.
The backpack itself is well-designed, with enough pockets to hold essentials like my phone, keys, and snacks without feeling cluttered. The material seems durable and has held up well so far, even after a few rugged trails. I also appreciate how intuitive it is to put on and adjust, making it a hassle-free choice for outdoor activities.
My only complaint, which seems common with hydration packs, is that cleaning the water bladder can be a bit difficult. The bladder and tube require thorough scrubbing to prevent mold or odors, and it’s a bit of a chore to dry completely. While the bladder is removable, which helps, it still takes some effort to keep it spotless. A cleaning kit or better instructions for maintenance would be a nice addition.
All in all, this is a solid hydration vest for anyone looking for a lightweight, easy-to-use option for outdoor adventures. The cleaning challenge is par for the course with these types of products, but it’s a minor drawback compared to the overall functionality. I’d recommend it to hikers, cyclists, or runners who want a reliable hydration solution!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2025I got this hydration backpack for hiking trips, and it’s been a great addition to my gear. The 2L water bladder was easy to fill, had no strange odor, and held water securely without any leaks. The bite valve works smoothly, making it easy to stay hydrated on the go.
The pack itself feels sturdy and well-made. I especially like the reflective accents, which add an extra layer of safety for early morning or dusk hikes. The adjustable straps allowed me to get a snug, personalized fit, and I was impressed that it stayed comfortable and breathable even during long hikes—it didn’t make me feel overheated or sweaty.
The stitching and zippers seem high quality and durable. I also really appreciated the accessible phone pocket, which made it easy to snap photos on the trail without digging through the pack. Overall, this is a well-designed, comfortable hydration vest that I’d definitely recommend for hiking, biking, or any outdoor activity. I think this is a great value for a durable, lightweight product.
As with most hydration bladders, they are somewhat difficult to clean and dry out. However, this is a pretty standard bladder design and I'm used to cleaning them and then letting them fully air out to dry to prevent mold or bacteria from developing.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2025This hydration backpack is a great item to have, especially for walking, hiking, running, or biking, because it's lightweight and easy to carry. It's also easy to use and clean.
I like that the buckle is adjustable, and it has a zippered phone pocket that keeps my phone secure. The backpack is well made. The durable zippers open and close smoothly. It even features reflective strips for visibility.
If you're looking for a good hydration backpack, I definitely recommend this one.
