My youngest LOVES the Wish movie and has been begging for a LEGO Wish set. Right now there are three on offer, of which this is the middle in price. I haven't built the big one, the Magnifico castle, but this cottage has to be the best value.
You get three minidolls -- and star. My daughters of course love having Asha, the main character. But surprisingly to me, they also wanted Asha's mom and grandfather, Saba Sakino. Those are the other two minidolls that come with the set. You will have to get the other set to get Valentino, the talking donkey.
The set has one side build, a very nice 'wishing' well that would be easy to include in a lot of LEGO scenes, either fantasy, city, or medieval.
But the real star is the cottage, which is so darn cleverly built! It's a 7+ recommended but I think my 6 year old could have done it, if she wasn't too busy playing with her 4-year-old sister and the minidolls. Both of them were attuned that this is Asha's house. (The cheaper Wish set is a building from the city of Rosas and not where Asha lives, dad.) I love all the Moorish-inflected architecture in Wish and this set to me does a spectacular job of capturing it in LEGO. The way you get that rounded cottage look with some simple angling and clever parts usage is really cool and made for fun build for me, an experienced LEGO guy. I don't personally care for stickers but that is the highlight of building for my 6-year-old. She got jealous when I let her little sister do one of them, haha.
I love the new thatched roof hay pieces in this model. You get a fairly generous amount and variety. There are also lots of little details inside the cottage of course. Kitchen with pan and teapot, drawer with LEGO fork and spoon, a little bedroom in the roof, cool fireplace stack upstairs and downstairs, a book (with printed elements!) and more.
OVERALL
The whole family loved this set. It was bigger than I expected for the price. You wouldn't have to know the Wish movie to enjoy it, it's just an nice charming build.

Do Legos ever do wrong?
My daughter often has trouble sitting still for very long and looses interest pretty quickly if something doesn't come easy to her. Once she realized the instructions were easy to follow, she was hooked. Plus, this was a really cute set for a little girl. She loved that it was more girly and not like all the super hero Legos that her brother prefers to build.
