These are thick cardstock type material and really easy to put up. Not sure what was going on with the negative reviews but mine were great. They’re really pretty for decorating. The lights that come with it just have a tab to pull that leaves them on so if you want something to turn off and on then you might want to consider getting some alternate lights to put in them.

    To put together just spread the star out then pull the string cord to hold in place, snap the Velcro and then I added red ribbon for hanging for an extra touch.

    Definitely recommend. I hung using screw on hooks.

    I bought these and yes, like you can see in the video they look amazing. But there is a lot of other sellers that offer these as well. Would I buy these again? Yes, but not from this seller, and here's why. First, when you try to unfold them, it's super difficult. I know they have a video showing that you just unfold them and pull the zip tie to close them. But expectations and reality is not the same thing. The paper, which is very nice, is super thick. On the downside, that makes it impossible to unfold them. They stick together. Once you get past that part because the paper is so thick. You can't just pull the zip tie close, it fights it. Definitely a two person job. Secondly, and my biggest issue with this product is the lights. They come with these little lights that you pull a tab, and it lights up. This product is meant to be hung on the ceiling. So without a remote, you have to get up there every day and pull the tab to light the lights. It does come with some extra lights. But the lights only last, maybe a day, if you leave them lit. Because this was so expensive, it's very disappointing that I now have to go and buy fairy lights to put inside just to have a remote. I do like the product, but I would buy from a different company that offers a product that has a remote with it.

    The lights are ridiculous. A plastic slide turns the mini lights off and on. You cannot turn them off if they are hanging and inside the paper lantern. Purchase your own battery lit lights that can be turned on/off with a remote.
