HI-TECH DISH MAT
Exactly as pictured and described on the website. Don't know how the mineral composition works but it does quickly absorbing and evaporating excess water. The design is simple but elegant. Ordered this with the intention of adding my own racks and I couldn't be happier (racks, cutting boards, glasses and dishes are my own.) Excellent value at list price and even better with the coupon currently available on the Amazon website. Highly recommended.

We normally use two smaller drying mats because one is not enough in most cases. I saw the 18” X 32” size of this one and ordered it because it was almost the size of the two that we were using. When I took it out of the box and set it on the countertop I thought it looked like a giant mouse pad and figured it wouldn’t work out. My wife took one look at it and said no way. While we were looking at it I took a handful of water and poured it on the mat. Well all the water disappeared instantly and we were shocked. I picked up the mat figuring that it leaked through and the water was on the countertop but no, the countertop was dry. Where the heck did the water go? I put my hand on the mat and it was dry to the touch and the mat did not move at all. We must have looked like two monkeys trying to figure it out. I don’t usually want to wash dirty pots, pans, etcetera but I had to just to see how much water it would hold before it started running onto the countertop. It didn’t leak a drop. I don’t know what type of witchcraft was used to make this mat but it sure does work and looks great too!

This is a great option if you like to do some of your dishes by hand but hate having wet counters.
Comes in big sizes for various counters and absorbed liquid SUPER QUICK.
The non slip is great and its a good density to lay your dishes on without worry of them slipping off or chipping or anything like that. Lays flat like a big mouse pad and rolls up quick and easy for storage. WAY better than using a towel or other options and worth the price.
Overall this is perfect drying mat for dishes not running through the machine. Two thumbs up

I got the Ecotrim Dish Drying Mat to replace our old microfiber one. I liked how the Ecotrim looked and thought it would fit perfectly. It does, but unfortunately, it is NOT a good drying mat.
Great for under appliances but not absorbent at all

The mat comes rolled up and had a slight smell which dissipated pretty quickly. It feels like a neoprene mouse pad and it just as thin as one. I put it under my dish drying rack and proceeded to wash my dishes. The mat is definitely water repellent, but didn't absorb anything! The picture I am attaching was taken after the water had sat there for almost an hour. I even tried to fold the edge and rub the water... all that did was to spread the droplets around. Thankfully, our dish rack is that type that has the water run down a gutter into the sink or I'm not sure how it would have handled a large amount of water.
I am giving the mat 3 stars simply because it is a good way to protect your wooden countertops or even cover a conduction stovetop. It is also good for keeping under appliances to stop them from sliding on the counter. As a drying mat, it is pretty much a 1 star since it doesn't absorb anything at all.
