These are great. Be aware, if you get multiple, the space between them is suctioned, so you'll have to create an air gap between them to pull out. That being said, I really like these. I used one for temporary turtle housing while I clean her tank. And another I turned into a mini aquarium for small snails and plants. Holding the water well.

Be aware that the medium container holds exactly 2 gallons of water and the large container holds exactly 3 1/2 gallons of water, which is considerably smaller than the specs indicate, which is why I only gave four stars. Other than needing to go back and buy the bigger container I think they're great little containers overall for my helix pomatia, except the fact that the ventilation holes on the side of the lid are too large for my isopods. The top of the lid is fine, much smaller ventilation holes, so I taped over the sides.
Some of the reviews say the lid is hard to remove, but it's two tabs on each side and the lid itself is very flexible, you just stretch out the sides and it lifts off easily.
The container itself is sturdy, And completely see-through despite being a slightly darkened plastic. Overall I would recommend them, but I wish they had a container that actually holds the 5 gallons I was promised

We are using this to house a beetle we found as a grub and raised in our house. The plastic lid on this carrier is not sturdy, I can tell right away this a lower quality product than a name brand one we used last year. Also I thought the lid latched on but it just sort of weakly clicks on meaning you couldn’t carry this from the handle. Altogether this is a cheap plastic I am guessing will break easily and I’ll be on the lookout for another one soon. Spend the extra couple dollars and go for one that is made a little better.

Makes a lovely betta tank. I used gravel to build up a hill on one side, and then a dirt and sand layer so I could put semiaquatic plants in it. My fish loves it and there's enough space for him to have a snail. In the wild, bettas live in rice paddies, which are shallow but very wide with lots of plants, so this recreates that environment well and makes for a lively, colorful fish.

If you had ordinary gravel and decor (not mounded into a hill), this would alternatively be a nice tank for a male guppy and maybe some shrimp or snails.

The measurements are a little smaller than advertised on the actual tank. I believe the measurements refer to the widest part of the lid. If this matters terribly to you, keep that in mind.

Compared with the popular Aqueon MiniBow line, these tanks are cheaper and, in my opinion, look just as nice.

One last thing: Some reviews complain that the lid they got was green; mine is a very dark green and it's not particularly noticeable. If you have problems with color, there are food-safe spray paints out there which are suitable for fish, or if you're crafty you can replace it with something else.

Als Kind hatte ich dieses Faunarium schon und verwendete es damals für die kleinen Guppys zum Großziehen. Heute schenkte ich es meinen Kindern, die es für Insekten- und Schneckenerkundungstouren zu nutzen. Es ist - wie eh und je - schön handlich. Der Griff ist funktional und vorallem hält der Deckel und geht nicht ab. Er ist dennoch, auch für Kinder, leicht abzumachen und wieder anzuklippsen. Einzig das Fenster im Deckel ist für Kinderhände etwas schwer auf, bzw. zuzumachen, aber das war schon immer so und soll wohl auch so sein. Es bleibt noch zu erwähnen, dass man das Faunarium leicht reinigen kann und leichte Stürze auch wegstecken kann. Zudem kann man die unterschiedlich angebotenen Größen der Faunarien leicht ineinander stapeln, so dass sie bei Nichtgebrauch wenig Platz wegnehmen. Ein einfaches, aber gut durchdachtes Produkt, das man gerne weiter empfiehlt.

Used as a full on fish tank.

At the time of buying I was looking for a cheap fish tank that held a lot of water. I didn't really have any Idea whether it would make a good fish tank, but all in all it has! Its a very neat design, the gaps in the top are ideal for oxygenating water, even if some of it evaporates through the gaps. The top lid is very tight and good for not letting things escape, but is flexible enough for things like wires to protrude through the top.

The tank is big enough to contain a small filter and I've bought some strip LEDs to light up my tank with as unfortunately, the tinting makes the tank very dark, and its something the picture doesn't illustrate well. Also, as its perspex it does scratch easily.

If your looking to use as a fish tank, it holds 21L of water and is temperature proof as I boil my water to sterilise it for the fish when I change the water. So I would assume heat mat/small lamp proof if you wanted to keep baby reptiles in it.

My guppies and plants love it ( I have two promiscuous guppies who enjoy rolling around together in this spacious tank and the size can accommodate one or two more as well ) Ideal for beginners to guppy breeding or for someone who wants a cheap goldfish tank (it would hold 2 goldfish at a maximum.) The only other flaw, is that the little feet for the tank aren't exactly straight and the whole tank slopes ever so slightly, and I noticed only because of the water.

Overall, for the price, I love this product. I saw something similar in a local petshop and they wanted £30 just for the tank! So a very good deal indeed!
