I was looking for a replacement when I found this set.
I really like the look of this set it's not small but the design doesn't take up alot of space I really like the block looks rich bronze brown wood also the weight of the knifes are great really like that the sharpener is on the side easy to reach and also the name of the company on front it muted doesn't take over the design for the price I would highly recommend. Buy it!! you want go wrong

Got these as a gift for my better half looked around name brands around this price point are or seem outrageously cheap and flimsy so gave this a try since they looked nice and are one piece style and have had good luck with that style not super high grade but definitely sturdy and they feel well made sharp out the box too nice heft to all the knives and the base is top heavy which we didn't mind makes it feel like quality ,color seems pretty accurate nothing was scratched or damaged well see how they handle rust and how long they stay sharp speaking of sharp the base does an included sharpener really nice bonus if you ask me. I'll update in a few months but first impressions are promising good value for the money.

Do not recommend.
1. Knife arrived scratched. Seller provided part refund, so I kept the set.
2. After only a month or so of reasonably careful use:
- the knife block is chipping and the black coating flaking off.
- rust spots have appeared on at least one knife even though they're never placed in dishwasher.
Very disappointed in the quality. Should have just returned it.
