These stick well, I even have slightly textured walls and they have not come off. It works very well for my broom. As you see in the video it pops in and out with no issues. I also use these for my Rubbermaid wet mop. That rod is slightly thicker and I do have some difficulty getting it in and out. Sometimes when you pull your broom out, that gray flexible pieces stayed in the indented position, so you have to manually pull it out, so you may stick the broom handle back in. It is a little annoying, but it does the job.
