      This item is not magnetic at all, and you have to have the most precise spot on it for to even have a chance of charging, and it won’t charge through a mag safe case at all. Highly disappointed definitely do not recommend.

      This a work of art (if you like an "industrial" look) that has great height/angle adjustability which holds it's position when pulling the phone off the stand, a "Goldilocks" magnetic hold and a very reasonable price. It's a slow Qi charger (it takes about 4hrs. to fully charge my iPhone 16 vs. about 2hrs. for Qi2). However this slower charging speed works fine for me since I have it on my night stand for charging overnight (and for IOS's "StandBy" alarm clock feature). I don't have a problem with its hard-wired USB-C cable since I don't travel with it and I don't need to ever unplug the cable from stand for whatever reason (e.g., using it as a stand only). However I could see this being a problem for others...hence my one star deduction.
