Directions

Place all six (6) wool balls directly into the dryer with each load of clean damp clothes, keeping the remaining three in their muslin bag. If you choose, you can use three (3) wool balls at a single time for smaller loads. Store the balls in the dryer for all dryable fabric types and load sizes. Replace your Wool Dryer Balls when the fibers begin to loosen, an average of 3 years or 1,000 loads.

    Tried the plastic spiked dryer balls first and they worked well. Then got some of these wool balls and was a bit surprised by the performance. My clothes come out of the dryer without static cling. Drying time was reduced as well as being able to dry using lower temperatures. There was no deterioration of the fabric due to the fabric softener destroying delicate fabrics like spandex containing knits. Being able to simplify the wash chore and not worrying about softener is a real plus as well as saving some money.
    The only negative I can think of is using these with a electric dryer and having the vibration of the wool balls possibly damaging the heating element through long term exposure to vibration. It is possible this may be mitigated by the increased air flow through the dryer when using this product resulting in less time to dry a load of laundry.
    Been using them for almost a year now and have made the switch and eliminated my liquid softener and/or dryer sheets.

    Love these! Ill never go back to dryer sheets. I use essential oils on them if I desire a scent, which I apply 2 drops per ball for each large load. I recommend getting 2 sets if you're doing more than 1 load, because I like to fold my laundry and then collect the balls at the end, as they get stuck inside sleeves, rather than sifting through the basket first just to throw in your next load.
