It comes in a box and wrapped in plastic with the "coins" also wrapped inside their compartment. Very easy to open. The toy works when you turn it on, the batteries are already inside a screwed in compartment. This item also arrived same day. I ordered it around 9am and arrived by 1pm. This is a great sorting toy for your little one whether you are trying to teach them to put things "in" and/or say the word "in".
The colors are bright and it talks which seems to grab my son's attention for quite some time. The product is also pretty durable, my son is also a thrower and this has not broken yet :)

My oldest was speech delayed so we purchased this to help him and boy did it. My daughter isn’t speech delayed but equally loved it. It helps with fine motet as well. The cuteness and how easy it is to use is a plus. Educationally it helps the kids count, identify colors and practice words. The noise level isn’t too annoying but the repetition that is good for kids can cause this mama to be a little annoyed sometimes. It’s an odd shape so not the easiest to store but not impossible.
