About the Author

Mark Sperring studied at Bath Academy of Art and Camberwell College of Art before working as a printer and a bookseller, and later becoming a children's book author. Mark's books for Bloomsbury include The Shape of My Heart, Snappy Birthday, Dino-Mummy, Dino-Baby, Dino-Daddy, Four Silly Skeletons, The Naughty Naughty Baddies and I'll Love You Always. He lives in Bristol.

Alys Paterson is a graphic designer and fine artist who has had several greeting card ranges published by the Art Group and who sells her beautiful prints through various galleries and Ikea. She trained at Falmouth and now lives in Bristol. This is her first picture book.

    A lovely book. My 16 month old loves the book. We only received it yesterday and he has asked me to read it to him half a dozen times already. The pictures are bright and simple, and it includes a lot of familiar items - stars, ears, birds, animals etc which he loves to point to and identify - as well as some new items. I would definitely recommend this book for a little one.
